HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP?
You can sign up on our web site here OR at the front desk.
If you would like to set this up in the gym, please bring a photo ID, a form of payment and some psych. We will handle the rest.
There is also the option of our Customer Portal where you can complete the waiver, sign up for a membership, and keep track of your membership, classes, and events!
For a monthly membership you pay a prorated amount at sign up and are billed on the first of the month every month thereafter. A credit card is required for all billed memberships.
Annual memberships are paid in full and expire 1 year from the date of sign up.
AM I ELIGIBLE FOR A HOUSEHOLD MEMBERSHIP?
Household memberships are a discounted membership option for cohabitating adults. Any 2 adults (age 18 and over) that reside at the same address, and children under 18 at the same residence, are eligible for a household membership.
Household memberships have a maximum of 2 adults 18 and older. Additional children on the account must be under 18.
Proof of shared residence is required for the two adults (18 and older) on the account. This is verified by presenting a photo ID with matching address, lease, bills, or other formal proof of address.
This information must be submitted to the front desk or emailed to verify@overlookclimbing.com within 1 month of purchase.
If household verification is not received within 1 month of sign-up, the difference in dues will be billed, and billing will increase to the standard rate. No refunds will be issued for verification documentation submitted more than 1 month after signup.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR A STUDENT MEMBERSHIP?
Full-time students and children under 18 are eligible for the student rate.
Students 18 and over must be enrolled in college or graduate school and provide proof of full-time status within 1 month of signup and again every September.
College and graduate students must submit their school schedule showing: full name, total number of units, and current term.
High school students 18 or older must submit a copy of their student ID.
Student verification can be shown to front desk staff or emailed to verify@overlookclimbing.com.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR A PERSONNEL MEMBERSHIP?
Teachers, EMT, Nurses and First Responders are eligible for the personnel rate.
Personnel must show a copy of their work ID, or submit a photo of their ID to verify@overlookclimbing.com.
If personnel verification is not received within 1 month of sign-up, the difference in dues will be billed, and billing will increase to the individual rate.
No refunds will be issued for verification documentation submitted more than 1 month after signup.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A PREPAID MEMBERSHIP?
Prepaid memberships offer flexibilty or savings.
Prepaid monthly memberships give access to our facilities and classes without any form of commitment. Nothing to commit to and nothing to cancel.
Prepaid annual memberships are provide savings over monthly memberships. It works out to be 12 months for the price of 11.
CAN I FREEZE MY MEMBERSHIP IF I AM UNABLE TO USE IT?
Yes! Members have the option to freeze their membership in the Customer Portal if they will be unable to use it for a period of time.
For Monthly, billed memberships, a membership freeze must last a minimum of 1 full month, and a monthly freeze fee of $10 will be applied for each member frozen on the account.
Freezes can only begin on the 1st of the month, in alignment with monthly billing, and the request to freeze must be requested before the first day of the month.
When unfreezing before or after the 1st of the month, prorated dues will be billed and the freeze fee for that month will not be credited. To unfreeze beginning on the 1st of the month, request must be received before the 1st.
The benefit of freezing vs cancelling is you lock in your current membership rate and you avoid paying the initiation fees upon returning.
CAN I ADD A MEMBER TO MY ACCOUNT?
Yes! If the person you are adding qualifies under household membership guidelines, you can add them at any time and we will prorate their membership.
For monthly EFT members the current month is prorated and the new rate begins the 1st of the following month.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY BILLING INFORMATION?
Please go to the Customer Portal and sign in to update any and all billing information. We do not take credit cards over the phone.
HOW DO I CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP?
Monthly memberships must be cancelled via the Customer Portal. They cannot be processed at the front desk. They cannot be processed over the phone.
Monthly billed memberships can set their membership to be cancelled up until the last day of the month.
The date listed on the cancellation form when the form is submitted will be the date the membership is cancelled.
Cancellations cannot be prorated to cancel mid-month.
All cancellation will be honored as long as they were requested prior to the 1st.
Cancellations will be confirmed via email reply. If you have your account set to not recieve emails from us, you may not recieve an email confirming your cancellation.
It is the member’s responsibility to ensure their request has been processed by checking their bank statement and contacting us if their change was not reflected.
Annual and prepaid memberships are non-refundable.
